				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>&#8220;Hacktivism&#8221;</strong>, where hackers with political motivations target organisations, has become a concern for major worldwide organisations.</p>
<p>Recently, the <strong>IMF</strong>, already under fire due to Dominique Strauss-Kahn, who is facing sexual assault charges in New York was the target of one of these attacks.</p>
<p>Not too long ago, Google announced similar attacks, which they believe originated in China.</p>
<p>Although companies &amp; organisations are still reluctant to announce such attacks, there does seem to be a worrying upwards trend in &#8216;hacktivism&#8217; against big organisations.</p>
