]]> “Hacktivism”, where hackers with political motivations target organisations, has become a concern for major worldwide organisations.

Recently, the IMF, already under fire due to Dominique Strauss-Kahn, who is facing sexual assault charges in New York was the target of one of these attacks.

Not too long ago, Google announced similar attacks, which they believe originated in China.

Although companies & organisations are still reluctant to announce such attacks, there does seem to be a worrying upwards trend in ‘hacktivism’ against big organisations.
